Welcome to Lafourche Arc
Lafourche Arc is a private, non-profit, organization that began operation in 1963 to provide services to people with mental retardation in Lafourche Parish. Today, the agency supports more than 500 individuals with disabilities, including children and the elderly, in a seven parish area, through a wide array of services.
Lafourche Arc is a professional organization licensed to provide residential-community home services for 36 individuals, adult day habilitation, respite care and supervised independent living for members of our communities throughout Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, St. Mary, St. Charles, St. John and St. James Parishes. Lafourche Arc is the largest provider of services to persons with developmental disabilities in region three.
